The rules of the program are that the effective date is the delivery date, not the order date.

Not sure how accurate this is as I was under the assumption that the new $1500 California rebate only applies to new orders not retro active orders.

But, I just got a text from Tesla saying that california has a new clean fuel reward rebate of $1500 that can be applied AT DELIVERY and to reply yes to take delivery in December.

I had my reservation since release in March or May.

Does anyone with a reservation before the $1500 get this rebate applied at delivery?

I think everyone who has delivery since 3 days ago will get it. The order date doesn't matter. So you will get it in December when you have your delivery.

Unfortunately, the Clean Fuel Reward is not stackable with PGE's Clean Fuel Rebate: Clean Fuel Rebate application

Good catch! Since the PGE rebate is expiring on 12/31, it makes sense for this to be introduced around this time and to substitute the PGE rebate.

After looking briefly, the $1,500 Clean Fuel Reward seems to get applied automatically, but the $2,000 rebate must be applied for separately. Does that make sense to everyone?

Bottom of California Clean Fuel Reward | EV Rebates and Incentives now says "*The $1,500 maximum reward amount is for vehicle sales completed by 11/1/21; beginning 11/2/21 the maximum reward will be $750".
