Camp mode, screen, and rear USB?

I'm trying out camp mode in my 2018 model 3, to, well, camp. I've encountered a few behaviors that I didn't expect based on what I've read about it. For one thing, the rear USB ports aren't getting any power, which is surprising since everything I've read about camp mode specifically mentions the USB ports being powered?

Also the first time I enabled camp mode today the screen dimmed with a message to tap to exit, and I can't seem to return to that view, despite trying to exit and re-enter camp mode several times, locking and unlocking the doors, stopping and starting charging, etc. I probably should try a reboot, maybe I will in the morning, for now I put it into screen clean mode as was suggested online from before it had the dimmed view by default. Is there something I'm missing to return to that view? Is this a bug unique to my car or software version, or applying to everyone? Thanks in advance
