Canada: Quebec BEV incentives

I see that Quebec still has good rebates. Can I purchase in Quebec and get those provincial rebates even though I am a resident of Ontario?
Another thread said I need to live in QC for 3 months, but I can't find this anywhere on the QC gov't websites.

Nope. They won‘t let you do it. You need to plate the car in QC and to do that, you need proof of address. Just not worth all the hassle and potential problems IMHO.
