does anyone have experience if you can’t be available for your delivery window? After making us wait for over a year, I’m assuming they will hold the vehicle for a few days if you can’t make it due to travelling?

Ordered last summer.

Originally had July - August,

Then July 25-Aug 15

Then July 20-26

Then got a text two days ago to schedule delivery. I have it schedule for 26th.

Still no VIN in app, but do have it in my source code.

Called my SA, he says the car is still not yet at Chicago hub, no promises that it will be on time.

Sigh.

it has always been touchy. AFAIK you'll have ~2-3 days to pick up the car, not more.

Ask your service contact, since we're not in the end of quarter push yet maybe you'll have some wiggle room.

Got notice to take delivery of our this week. But we have decided we are happy with the Y so we’ll just let it expire. Somebody will be happy to move up the q one position.

I think this is why Tesla has been sending out the On Hold notices since I suspect more and more are cancelling and this really has a negative impact on their forecasting and even forward guidance in earnings calls, etc.

I had a quote for BCAA before I arrived. The agent on site there was able to beat it.

But rates are different for everyone (driving history, where you live, how you use the car, coverage, etc etc). What I can say that the price was actually almost the same for my model 3.

Seems to be all current scheduling is BC or GTA. Has anyone who was updated a couple weeks ago to an end of July delivery in Montreal / Eastern Ontario been updated to actually schedule delivery yet?

I got quotes $191 in toronto(north york) yesterday

I also got a text from my SA saying

your Model X has just departed from our factory and is in transit to your delivery center!

I recommend getting multiple quotes. I’m in Alberta and got one for $130 a month and another for $170 a month.

Agree with @dpotvin the second quote the insurance was less for the model x than our 2 year old model 3. Odd.
