Car went total Blacked out without warning!?

I parked my 2014 model S85 with 127 miles of range left. 2 hours later I came out to my car and the door handles presented and then the car went entirely black, nothing would get the car back, reset the app, called Tesla they tried remotely reset and eventually I had to have it towed, they tried to jump it with no luck eventually it was taken to the Tesla Service on Valentines date night! Not a great end to the evening. Does anyone know what happened?

12volt battery probably, do you know the age of it. How long did you try to jump it?

You are right, it was the 12 volt battery and it was only 9 months old. Tesla said the battery was defective and that is why there weren’t any warnings that the battery was low. Tesla replaced it for free

They saved my butt when the oem wasn't available anywhere in the area. Also it's an acid free battery so it won't cook dry.
