Car won’t power down, always reboots

I have an ongoing issue that since I purchased basic AP for my 2015 model s 70D (which hasn’t worked yet), the car reboots when I open my door, both on leaving and entering the vehicle. Also, I tried to “power off” the car from the menu but the car simply boots right back up despite not touching the brake pedal. Any idea?

Tech Support has been nice but can’t seem to get an answer and it’s a couple weeks out for an appointment.

I was able to at least get an appointment with the mobile team for next week Wednesday, which I’m hoping nothing more sinister is going on here.

Tesla virtual service tech texted me that he fixed it by sending the correct autopilot version to my car while it was parked at the train station. Confirmed this was fixed remotely by a software configuration change
