Carbon fiber console overlay installed.

So I was getting some scratches on the console sliding cover so decided to cover it up to protect it with this real carbon fiber overlay panel.
I am pretty happy with the overall results. The only negatives I see is around the cup holders if you rub the edge with your fingers you can feel the overlay is not rounded smooth. I’m thinking maybe to put a silicone insert in the cup holders as it should overlap the carbon. Where the doors meet it feels ok. What do you think. Does it look good ?

Any issues with the doors sliding after installing this? I really like the carbon fiber look but I just don't see how this can fit and the door still slide without rubbing.
I was thinking the same thing before install. I was scared it wouldn’t clear or be tight. The overlay slides a bit under the trim and there is plenty of room for it to slide. Does not rub at all.
