Carplay kit in model Y

Received the carplaykit dongel from Amazon yesterday. Any else in the US having issues installing? Namely, the nano SIM specs and the forbidden download site Tesla‘s browser blocks?

They have stopped selling this for North America due to the SIM card problems. They’re supposedly working on a fix but said they may refund if they can’t figure it out.
