So I had an appointment for today but they changed to next week because part is not in. I have a 2017 and on the estimate it shows no cost but I heard the adapter is now $175. Does anyone know what they do for this? I thought it was just a software update but why would they have to come out for this?

It's both hardware (charging ECU) replacement and software update plus an CCS to Tesla adapter.

on my 17 s100d i was quoted 450+ tax for the ecu retrofit + the adapter; they keep switching my appointment between the sc and mobile service; but i think its because they don't have the parts needed.

I used to have the option indicating that the retrofit would be available in 1st qtr 2023... now it's not there and i can't find in the service part of the app... any suggestions?

I had it done March 12th on my '19 LR. Mobile Service did it on a Sunday morning, taking about 45 minutes total and cost $450 + Tax. As mentioned, it included a new PCB (mounted in the area under the rear seat) since mine wasn't capable as-built and the adapter itself. I set up the appointment around 1 March.

I have an appt at the service center at the end of this month for my retrofit and its listed on the estimate as $450 for the adapter and the parts/labor.
