Dead 12V battery? How about providing some details, i.e., which model year, hardware configuration, software version, etc?

I read a post where a guy had his center screen die on a fairly new car and Tesla said it would not be covered under warranty because he left the factory screen protector on the car which damaged the screen.

So if you have any screen protector on, take it off before trying a warranty claim, if you're under warranty.

After waiting for 4 hours or so, it got rebooted fine. S/w is 2022.8.10.11

That’s pretty old. How old is your car?

If the issue is the 12V battery, it’s going to cause problems until you replace it.

After the 8G eMMC got replaced a week ago, all the issues are gone for good including the blank central display.
