Charging Door Spring Broke

The charging door spring on my 2.5 fell/broke off when opening it this evening. Is this an easy repair or am I looking at taking off the entire left rear panel? I have no idea where the spring went (it appears to be somewhere in the inarards). The door still works so I suppose I can live with it the way it is but I would rather fix it if I can. I thank you for any advice you can give on this.

The whole assembly needs to come out, a pin fell out most likely and then the spring fell out with it. We have two here like this now

Thanks Carl. I have an appointment to take it to the Tysons Corner SC this Thursday so hopefully it will be fixed without too much fuss or expense.

Good luck, I hope you are more successful than I. when I took mine in about 10 years ago they made a big deal about how difficult it was to repair and that when taking off the body panels to gain access I'd be responsible if they broke anything.
