We're going down to the Dover area for a week's break shortly. It seems there's not a lot of Tesla superchargers nearby. Any recommendations for charging in the area?

Osprey chargers in Whitfield, pub car park, are good and reasonably fast 75kw. Off-peak and/or windy weather discount via Electroverse. Cheaper than the MFG's too.

Discovery Park in Sandwich has Fastned, 20 min drive from Dover.

Im in Kent.

there aren’t many, but the good ones:

1. Maidstone M20 - 6 - V3 chargers. You’ll be lucky to get a space here, likely to be waiting 10 mins for a space.

2. M2 J4 Medway Services. Brand new V3 chargers. 12 stalls - really good services, can easily get space to Dover and To London.

3. 150KW rapid chargers on A299 (a few miles past the Dover junction)

4. There are a set of rapid chargers going in at Dover, however not certain of location (people above have helped!)

I would recommend to stop at the above and fully charge to 100%. Depending on how much you’re driving around the area, might see you through to come back and top up.

Thank you guys, very much. Yes, I'd planned to top up at Medway. One of the things that shocked me, looking at the Electroverse and ZapMap apps, was the cost of public charging! I'm used to charging for 7.5p/kWh at home!
