It doesn’t necessarily have to be rain-x. Any car shampoo or wash will have the same effect. They all have some kind of protection which can cause that sheen.

I’m on IOS. I’ve managed to reconnect back to my car. I completely started the process again and made sure I had WiFi connected to the car. Worked like usual after the second go. Took some time to test the charge, but did it in the end.

Should of read this thread before I did anything... I thought "Oh I have a spare 10 mins, ill try and reconnect with Octopus" Getting multiple errors after enabling the virtual key. Now I cant "test connection" for some reason.

Tbf, watching Netflix and Disney all together while the car is charging is nice. To add my daughter and I play a game where we try and guess which noise the car will make when it locks. It’s fun with younger children of course

It still amazes me how the same people every new update seem to get the release first! Is it still pot luck or now theres a science to it? Very much looking forward to this update.

On a quick note: for anyone who had issues with the car taking an age to “wake” when you load the app. For me it’s seems to be fixed with a Tesla iOS app update. Much better performance and back to the norm for me

I’ve manually adjusted the headlights to sit lower and it’s much better. Think I adjusted both by 4 “clicks” of the steering wheel button

Use AP all the time with LDW’s - works as normal for me. I do a lot of night driving (in winter especially)

I used standard Matt spray can paint I bought from Amazon. Just do a quick search and look at reviews. My one is a perfect match! I would recommend to clean the rash as thoroughly as you can as the paint sticks better.

This thread has just become like the many others on here. Just people moaning for the sake of it. Same culprits. For what it’s worth- my headlights haven’t blinded anyone (that I know of) nor have I been blinded by any Tesla. (I drive multiple cars - different manufacturers - a year)

I had the same noise! It sounds like metal hitting metal. I soon realized it was the rear head rests. I pushed both head rests down and the noise stopped. Otherwise I would speak to Tesla about it!

Exactly. You are suggesting Tesla add more features to basic AP by re-engaging AP after a manual lane change. Which defeats the purpose of the upgrade to EAP.

From a sales point of view makes no sense… Why would anyone think “oh yeah, ill pay an extra £1000 (or whatever it is) to do my lane changes by itself” 99% of people would just use the standard autopilot if the features you suggested are added for free… That’s why there’s obviously more...

Do you know who reported it? Want to see if the words use match what’s been said recently. Does the highland model have “special” hardware other older models don’t have or something? Can’t see it being an issue with older cars getting this update. Although it’s a very Tesla/Apple approach...

Looks like Matrix headlights are on their way (new model 3 only at this point) but I’m sure a new update can roll this out to previous cars with the hardware?

The rainham one would come under Medway services J2 on M2. No point them having the Medway services one and literally a mile down the road another supercharger in rainham. (That’s what I assume anyway) J7 is a good 15-20 miles away so I imagine we can treat the 2 seperate.

Yep they confirmed it would drop today and it has done. V4.9.0 app on the App Store now solves my issue above!
