Cheetah stance

Question is are the p100d cars getting the power increase?

Actually, I see no reason why cheetah stance couldn't be incorporated into P100D Teslas pre raven since it lowers the front suspension lower than the "low" setting for that run and we all have the air suspension. Not sure if pre raven cars get the power increase since we don't have the front drive unit that ravens have (being the rear drive unit from M3's).

Here’s what I saw in a 2016 P100D at 86% SoC. Feels faster and spun the tires which I’ve never done, but can’t be sure. I did not see 600kW on the power scale like this video (maybe MCU2 vs MCU1?). He hits 614 vs my 557 kW. He’s at 99% SoC and his power is higher, but looks like I eked out just a bit higher g 1.22 vs 1.24 (according to the onboard stats). I do feel the car hunker down when I put it in launch mode (the process is the updated one, with updated instructions), and it feels different getting into launch mode than before. Will need someone to take a video to be sure.

First look at Tesla's launch mode with 'Cheetah stance': proves to be slightly quicker - Electrek

Available data so far shows that most of the increased power is in the rear motor rather than the front motor on Ravens. There could be a difference related to the battery revisions that prevents it for P100DLs.

Since I have MCU2 I'll have to charge to 100% SOC and take a quick trip into the country when I have a chance.

I had very different results with my 2017 P100DL.

My 2017 P100DL had the complete opposite results after the 12.5 update :(.
I was excited to try it out today after getting the update late Friday night. I charged up the car to 100% and engaged Ludicrous + mode with max battery power. Waited for the readouts to appear on the car and took it out. I just did the same tests on March 29th with a new rear drive unit that Tesla just replaced under warranty at around 66k miles. The results were good on March 29th, but definitely losing peak power over the years down to 535kW from 565kW or so from a few years ago. I got a couple of 2.5s times w/roll out to 60mph and then consistently stayed in the 2.7-2.9s range. Today I was hoping for better times, better launches and more peak power.
Unfortunately that’s didn’t happen the initial run at 100% with Launch Control used got me a 2.56s w/roll out. I continued do 10 more runs with launch control and the times over the next several rounds were quite bad as you will see in the images. All runs were in the 3s with a massive drop off in power around 40-45mph, it was very strange feeling the power come off so early and significantly around 40mph. As well all my power stats fell off from March 29th. I also did a 1/4 mile run and that number is the highest I’ve ever gotten 11.9 at 102mph! Afterwards I went back into just Ludicrous mode and I did a few more runs. They were in the 2.9s and low 3s and a 1/4 mile at 11.4 at 109mph. I’m quite confused what happened there. I’m thinking they just didn’t get the power curve right when Ludicrous + is turned on, because it was very limited compared to normal Ludicrous mode that pulled much harder.
Hoping this gets fixed soon!!!

BUMP and confirmed with what UK said . . . although you should be happy with a 2.74 as the best I've gotten with 544 kW was 2.8 and I only have 37k miles. I agree though...the launch seems better for the first 40 mph but you can definitely feel it give up. COME ON TESA!!!!

I will charge up to 100 and run with the dragy as well to see what I get, but given my kW was only 541 last time out, there is no way that translates to a faster 0/60 or 1/4 mile run. Hope they give us non-ravens some love soon!

It seems that it lowers the performance when the car is in full Ludicrous plus mode. Not sure it effects regular Ludicrous mode, logic would say that it does.

I haven't actually found that to be true, at least in my case. I made a run the other day that was cool (50°) and misting. Long acceleration was down due to the inability to obtain good traction, but 569.3 Kw is 763+ hp

Off topic I know - is there a way to see the max power output similar to what you guys with the P cars see in a non Performance S?
