That is not a chip, its just a manufacturing mark from cutting the glass and not fully sanding it down. Its a bit unsightly, but don't worry unless it creates a visible crack down the field of view. If a crack starts there, then you have pictures as proof it was weak there.

Here's a bad chip I had on the edge of front glass roof, along with a couple of paint chips too. Luckily it was covered by the insurance so I ended up paying the deductible only.
