Cleaning outdoor black plastic trim around wheels and bottom of doors?

What do you all recommend to clean and protect the exterior plastic trim around the wheels and bottom on the doors?

I clean mine during normal car washing, but certain areas (see pics) tend to have a white haze consistently.

There are several products you can buy to bring back the black. Most of the time I just wash the plastic and apply some tire dressing on it. This seems to last about as long as the other products.

Thanks. I have same issue. Bought the Chemical Guys Trim Clean. My detailing kit runneth over.
