Cleaning the mesh pillar by the seat belt retractor

I've got some marks from the seat belt on the driver side pillar by the seat belt rectractor. What would be the best way to clean this? Anyone else experience markings here from the seatbelt?

I’m curious as to what people use to clean the white mesh too. I’m too terrified to use anything too strong on it.

From the manual:

For general cleaning, wipe interior surfaces using a soft cloth (such as microfiber) dampened with a mixture of warm water and mild nondetergent cleaner (test all cleaners on a concealed area before use). To avoid streaks, dry immediately with a soft lint-free cloth.​

Just curious but you drive with the front windows down a lot? I can’t see how the seat belt would mark the fabric.

No, I haven't had the windows down at all actually. I think the black plastic from the seat belt connector is marking the mesh fabric when it's retracted.

I actually used 3M Scotch Guard to protect the pillars the week I bought my car. To clean I just use a mild soap and a white cloth. I drive the freeway with windows down all the time. I highly recommend it
