Hi,

Just wondered if any one has taken this out on their S or X? My S is coming out of the bumper to bumper warranty in a few months so I am considering it. I thinks its in the order of £400 for 1 year.

An interesting question.
So far it seems that Tesla EV problems are few and far between, but should they happen, expensive.
My MiC M3 LR needs a new master computer board. The cost, including labour, will be about £2500.
I'll see what happens over the remaining 3.5 years, but at £400 an extended warranty could make sense.

I've looked at both Tesla and third party warranties for our now 4 year old+ X. I've gone WITHOUT warranty, is that a good decision? Who knows, ask me in 1,2,3 years time.
