That's simply false. We know the climate has been different in the past, just as we know CO2 levels and other greenhouse gasses have never increased so quickly when humans were trying to survive.
Wind energy is also just an asterisk in New York. Apparently, it is very expensive to winterize. That is why New York gets very little from wind energy. Texas dwarfs New York in wind energy production. Texas is leading the way in wind energy. Our Arctic blast experience taught us we need to boost coal during an Arctic blast, then dial it back after a week. No, it's because we don't have the same potential for wind energy, (or solar), as Texas but we also have a large amount of hydroelectric power, the highest of any state east of the Mississippi.

We have hydro in Texas too, but it is only an asterisk like wind is to New York. And this leads to a point I've made to the global warming fanatics over the years. Various sources of energy work best based on the geography of the location. The fanatics have this one size fits all approach, and try to cram it down the throats of everybody. I tell them to back off and allow our scientists and engineers figure out what source of energy is best to use for each region on earth. You fanatics need to quit telling our power engineers what to do!
