Colorado Deliveries/VIN Thread

Did you run conduit etc. or does that cable have tough cladding, etc.? How did you connect to breaker box? That seems the trickiest part.

I ordered jacketed 6/3 THHN. No need for conduit unless you are running on top of drywall, which I did not for any length. Wire the breaker box last. Order a 60amp breaker manufactured by the manufacturer of your breaker panel. Torque the 6/3 cables in the breaker box to the breaker manufacturer specs. All done! Don’t forget cable straps for entry points and every 4 feet of the run.

I have two quotes that are both about $1,400 for labor! And I have what should be a simple setup. I already ordered the Wall Charger online but haven’t received it yet.

Check out Elevation Electric. Joe installed my Tesla Wall Connector (purchased separately) for $550, with 50+ feet of wiring.

Woke up to a VIN this morning! Ordered 4/13 in Springs. Vin is 188 range! Estimated delivery 5/28-5/31. No word from tesla as of yet!

I second this. Joe was great, he beat my other quotes by $1200. I ended up paying about a $1000 for a new panel, wall charger install, and transferring existing garage wiring to the new panel.

Short story is that it was great. Car has no issues and has been great! Loving it and happy to finally have it after waiting what felt like forever.
