My model 3 got hit in the parking lot by a 17 yr old who backed into my car when he was backing out.
I got estimates from Tesla collision center and Tesla authorized body shop and very similar in cost. $2200-2300 to fix and repaint or $2500-2600 for a new bumper given there is no hidden damage inside.
Anyone who got their rear bumper replaced or repainted, how did it come out? I want a new bumper but worrying that it might not fit correctly knowing the quality control of Tesla.
But then at the same time, they also have to take the current bumper off to fix and repaint so that might screw up the fit too.
What would you guys do in this situation?
