Front bumper replacement

Unfortunately got into an accident with wild life, there’s a crack that on the lower part of the bumper.

I assume based on past threads that it would mean a bumper replacement. What’s a reasonable cost?

I reached out to a Tesla certified body shop and they quoted 5k, which seems quite steep. I tried to schedule a service appointment through Tesla and am still waiting to hear back.

Your insurance deductible.

You probably want to get it looked at, to ensure its not just a bumper (that nothing else is damaged under there). Tesla service centers probably wont be interested in replacing a bumper that was damaged in an accident, they are going to tell you to contact a body shop.
