Connector Won't Unlock!

I had the software bug (according to Tesla) that froze the charger connector in the port and wouldn't unlock. Tesla "T" was solid red.
They told me that you can manually release the connector by reaching into the hole in the left back of the inside of the trunk near the light and pulling GENTLY on the little tab while pulling on the connector handle. Worked.

My adapter got stuck as well. I stared the charge again then used the app to stop the charge and unlock the charge port. Worked in my instance at least.

Thank you this worked for me too. I still don't have a symbol for the charging port on my screen but at least I was able to get the plug out.

Had issue where charge port wouldn’t release charger or start charging at times. Scheduled service and had service van come out and he replaced charge port saying it was known issue. 9/2018 mfg date.

Not one issue since!
