Continental PureContact LS

I've been researching tires as my OEMs are getting close to done (13K now and hope to get to 16-17K). Everything is a set of compromises but I find it's best to focus on products that are the best at what you care most about (PS4S is the best handling, low noise tire for example). So I've been leaning toward the most popular choice on these forms of the Michelin PS4S (Northern CA so I can run summer tires year round).

Then I ran across the Continental PureContact LS. Based on ratings in tire rack, cost and warranty, I can't figure out why it's not the go to tire for most people.

What am I missing? Anyone have direct experience?
