Convex mirrors for Model X

They appear to be different. Just browsing eBay and looking at the used mirrors; the mold for the Model S mirrors are different from the Model X mirrors. But on other cars; we used to swap RH/LH mirrors because typically the passenger side is convex. So for a US market MX the passenger side might already be convex. For a UK market MX, their passenger side would be our drivers side. You'd have to find out if the passenger side is indeed convex on the MX, if it is then your search becomes easier.

Fun fact. Base models and Premium models have different mirrors for the Model S. I had no idea this was the case.

Base RH Part #1042524-00A
Premium RH Part# 1042528-00A

But here's the kicker. According to the parts catalog, mirrors are only available individually on the S. On the X, they're shown as a unit. https://epc.teslamotors.com/#/systemGroups/66242

Just traded our S for an X today. Had a tiny glimmer of hope that our Euro driver mirror from the S will fit, but looks like it's a no go.

The mounting point is the same. But the S mirror is 1/2" longer and 1/4" narrower. One of the connectors is also different, but that would've been easy to re-solder.

X - left, S - right.
