When I talked to the original user he basically admitted he really didn't keep the battery plugged in at home unless he was low on power.

Like 99,9% of all other Tesla owners - cold or warm climate ...

You must be referring to this one. Assuming one can still call it a "pack"

What did they do, mount 2 packs worth of cells on top of each other and call it one battery? Or stuff extra cells in the back seat?

Sounds like one heavy Model S.

At some point I'll have to do a detailed post on why this will never happen.

'Fraid that's incorrect. But the video is from Gruber Motors so, while I've had no direct dealings with them myself, I'd take their claims with a hefty pinch of salt.

@HankLloydRight on here has a P85D with a 100 pack, IIRC.

Nice i was not sure. A lot of people would cringe at the price but if yiu think about it you would be basically getting a new car for $23K. Unlike tofays market beginning at $40k and up …

Probably only Jason Hughes has ever retrofitted AP2 to an AP1 car which would allow sentry. It would be insanely expensive.

Your car has no range warranty, so you’re not going to get a warranty replacement for range issues no matter how much you moan.

Best you can do is prove it is less than 80% capacity. I watched a video recently showing the new service mode in which there is a battery test option.
