Crack in roof glass

I just noticed an ~18" crack in the front roof panel glass. No roof racks or external impacts (as far as I know) were involved.... Just my luck, I guess. My car is a 10/18 build.

Question: Is this a "go to Tesla service" sort of repair or can typical automotive glass repair shops handle this job? The estimate from Tesla is $1200.

This happened to me yesterday. I opened my Falcon Wing door and the glass was cracked-no impact-just a spontaneous crack. Have service scheduled but have not received a cost estimate. I wonder if this has happened to anyone else.

I found a crack on the rear glass and after taking it to Tesla they determined it was a stress fracture and covered the replacement under warranty. It would have cost $1000 if I had to pay for it myself.

I had this too but just don't understand how fragile it is.
In my case I lean on the glass and it cracked! And seems to be the start of a run There's got to be some internal stressed going on with it.
Curious to know how common this issue is.
