Roof Rack Install Question

I just put a TesMag roof rack on my new MYLR. It was a bit of a struggle getting those clamps in, even when seeing the arrows.

In one thread I saw mention of the potential to crack the glass if the "hooks" didn't anchor in metal slots beneath. So, my dumb question is: How can I verify if I did it correctly?

TIA - Richard

1. is the metal hook centered with the arrow?
2. does it move less then a few millimeters back and forth?

If both are a „yes“ for your install, then you are good to go. If you’re still concerned, you can slowly tighten the bolts and check for weird sounds and movement. Some little funny sounds when tightening is normal but if you see the glass lifting or hear load cracking, you better stop.

Thanks very much!
