Will the recent decline in TSLA stock price stop you from buying a new Tesla?

The two have almost no relationship to each other at this point. If I had a dollar for every time people told me Tesla was a sinking ship and that I shouldn't invest/buy their cars, I would've reinvested those dollars back into TSLA and be a lot richer.

Tesla is still worth more than the vast majority of automakers. It's just a very volatile stock. Also, even if Tesla were to go bankrupt it would certainly be Chapter 11 meaning it would merely be a reorganization of debt, not a liquidation.

Right. GM and Chrysler went bankrupt. They’re both still in business.

You have to give some context and facts.

1. The CoronVirus affect the WORLD economy, not just Tesla.

2. Tesla created a disruptive market and has a major lead.

3. Tesla has its own battery factory.

... etc

However, if there is a recession, many companies will suffer especially if they don't have enough cash flow to cover their long term loans.
