Delivery pushed back almost 3 weeks and VIN disappeared.

    Just got THEE call from my ISA with bad news that we need to push delivery back from the 11th to the 27th... he claims it was due to carrier change but as soon as I logged on to my Tesla account my VIN has suddenly dissappeared... So I now have all my finance papers with a possible old VIN and it will be over 30 days old so they’ll have to do finance again.
    Anyone have any clue on what’s actually going on? Seems like there may have been an issue with the car and not the carrier.

    Dunno if this is related or not, but I got a call last Thurs (Aug 30) that I could suddenly receive my car the next day. I was out of town through the weekend, so I scheduled delivery for last night (Sept 4). I got a call yesterday at the start of my delivery window, from my delivery specialist, that he was about to pick up my car. Then an hour or so later, he called again saying that when he went to pick up the car a safety issue was discovered that required the car to go into the shop, and my delivery had to be canceled. I'm supposed to get an update today on when to expect delivery, and whether it'll be the same VIN or a different car.

    My Tesla account no longer lists the VIN, and now says that my delivery is "late September" again. Although the purchase contract is still online, and still shows the VIN.

    I wish they'd tell the truth; with a VIN disappearing that seems like the car, not the carrier.

    I got back in contact with my ISA and he said that nothing was wrong with the car and I still had the same VIN, it just disappeared because he pushed the delivery back. Still something seems weird to push the delivery back 3 weeks :/
