I got the same like a month ago and I'm still waiting. You don't know when your car is coming until you get like a 10 day window and even then it's not 100% certain. My initial EDD was June 2022 and we're past that.

I received my VIN 24 days before delivery. I imagine there's quite a bit of variation though, because from what I understand, receiving a VIN means your vehicle is built, but then it needs to be shipped to your local area. That's where you're going to run into delays.

Until you receive a VIN, things are still up in the air, but the call from Tesla is a good sign. You must be getting close.
