Direct Line - Modifications

Hi all, the lease was coming up to an end soon on our Model 3 (SR+) so we’ve taken advantage of the 0% finance and picked up our new one (LR - Black).
Since picking it up we’ve had the side windows tinted (not sure about the back yet) and had some new wheels put on (AEZ Atlanta, 20’s, Gloss Black) with other minor cosmetic changes to occur in future. My wife has contacted Direct Line as it’s in her name and they’ve added these as modifications but not charged anything extra as I expected them to which makes me think something isn’t quite right. Anyone else been charged for things like this?

Also, I managed to slightly kerb the wheel within one mile of the new wheels being on (kicking myself a bit).

DL don't seem to be bothered about wheel changes. Mine weren't extra either.

Check the small print. They may have specified in the policy modifications aren't paid out on so you are free to modify the car but they'll only put it back to standard.

ah that’s good - still waiting on the revised policy being sent out but that’s fine - I’m happy to lose the wheels if it’s ever in a bad accident (I’ve got the 18’s at home).
