Do I need a charging cable?

I just replaced my previous EV with a Tesla 2023 Model S. I pick up the Model S next Saturday (Feb 25, 2023). For my previous vehicle I had a NEMA 14-50 outlet in the garage with a CCS cable going to the EV. Will the Tesla come with a charger and cable that I can plug into the NEMA 14-50 and then to the Tesla, or do I need to purchase that? And if so, what do you suggest?

If you did not select to purchase the mobile connector with your vehicle order then you will need to purchase that separately.

Currently the kit comes with the 14-50 adapter included for $230. You can order online to be shipped or you can call to see if your delivery/service center has some on hand for purchase.

If you still have your previous J1772 cable, you can use that with the supplied J1772 to Tesla adapter that should be included with the car.

I'd get the Tesla Mobile Connector and 14-50 adapter for it. Call the Tesla store and they will provide it at extra cost on delivery. Sometimes if you order from Tesla.com using your account, it may not come in time.
