Does unplugging during charging cause any damage?

Our employees share a few level2 charging stations. To maximize their usage, my company asked every Tesla owner puts the adapter on while parking, so the staff can unplug the charging cable to charge the next car every few hours. With the adapter, the cable is not locked, and the staff unplug it without first clicking stop charging in the console. Will this cause any damage to the car or the battery?

Nope, no risk to car or the charging equipment. There are systems to protect them.

Pushing the J1772 unlock button is supposed to stop the charger from delivering power. Since that physically locks to your adapter, they need to push that before they can unplug. As @beatle said, you are safe.
