Driver side mirror turned out....fix, please.

My wife hit my driver mirror with her side door and turned the mirror out. I don't want to pull it back in as I feel the force I had to use seemed as though it could break an internal component. Any ideas on what to do would be appreciated. I'm also trying to avoid the service center because I'd like to save the time if it's an easy fix.

Yeah, I wouldn't do it for fun, but I've walked into it and caused that before. I've also had it do weird things because of ice. In all cases, I've just moved it back to the correct position. I suppose you could pay the service center labor rate to have them do it for you and potentially save the cost of the part, but spending $200 to prevent spending $400 when you'll most likely end up spending $0 if you do it yourself seems a bit silly. To be clear, these numbers are made up, but I think the illustrate the point well enough.
