Duplicate software updates

I just got another notification that a software update was available. Yesterday I had one also. The update this morning shows the same number as yesterday, 2019.16.2.

What's up with that?

I believe I've seen previous reports of people receiving the same update twice. It's a rare occurrence. If you didn't get any "update failed" messages after installing and everything is working correctly then I wouldn't worry about it.

I found out what happened. I just so happened to have an appt with a mobile Tesla tech today and he said that he pushed the update to the car this morning unbeknownst to me. So nothing weird going on.

The car is only due what it’s due, so if they trigger an update, right, you get the same one again.
