Eastern Long Island, NY - Car Inspection Recommendations?

I'm outside Riverhead, NY and I'm looking for recommendations for the annual NYS car inspection.

I'm sure there are places closer to you but I went to All Weather Tires in Huntington Station. (Inspection is done across the street from the main shop). Was in and out in less than 5 mins.

I just went to Firestone. It was $10 and done in a few mins.

They put my sticker on crooked though. Can't stop looking at it now.

I know Pep Boys can do it. They said that they do not use lifts for Teslas, not sure though.

In Nassau I used Jiffy Lube because they do not have lifts at all. They are not eligible in Suffolk.

I got all my inspections at a Mavis in Huntington the past 3 yrs. Went there today and was told they can’t do Tesla‘s because there was a memo sent out, and if they did it they would get in trouble. I‘ve always gone to AWT for years to have tires installed, patched or balanced. Saw your post about getting the inspection done across the street and stopped by. I was in and out in 5min as well. Tipped the tech some cash and was on my way.

I use Smithwest Service Center in St. James (Smithtown), it's an AAA shop. They do a great job, but you do need an appointment. I do not believe they use a lift as it's too quick of an experience.

Unless something has changed, no tesla service center has done NYS inspections. I believe it has to do with having to have equip to do emissions
