Elberfeld, IN (Evansville) Charger

Anyone in the area know anything about the charger location in Elberfeld, IN near Evansville? It's not listed at on on surpercharger.info which seems odd if the Tesla site is saying "2019".

Needs this one to go to Chicago the not so boring way from Nashville, can't stand 57.

The sites on supercharge.info are locations with a permit filed or already under construction. Basically, it only goes on there if there is tangible proof there will be a charging site. Tesla's map is "we might put a charger around here somewhere in the future"

My guess is that Tesla's Elberfeld pin will actually end up being closer to Haubstadt at one of the 3 truck stops--Pilot, Flying J, or Love's--which are all at the intersection of US-41 and I-64. But regardless of where it ends up, you can't read the "Coming Soon" dates on Tesla's map as actual scheduling. That same Elberfeld pin was also on the map in 2017 saying "target opening in 2017" and last year saying "target opening in 2018". Which is why they also include the disclaimer of "Exact timing and specific location may vary".
