Electrify America Kansas Locations

I came across an EA site at a Walmart in Hays Kansas today. Seven CCS plugs and one Chademo, as usual. Don't expect that it gets much use, looks brand new. Some pictures:

Its really unfortunate that Electrify America is building these along the same routes Tesla is already serving. If they served different routes, and filled in the dead zones in the already existing networks it would be way easier to convince Tesla that there are compelling CCS charging networks they need to support.

All networks need to serve all routes unless the master plan is to homologate all networks to a common connector (or offer adapters) and a common billing system. Since we look to be nowhere near such a plan, it would be crazy for EA to not build their charging network along the major interstates that are already served by Tesla.

EA's purpose has nothing to do with convincing Tesla of anything. And they're unlikely to put chargers in areas without Superchargers for the same reasons that Tesla has chosen not to put them there yet.

If all EVs used a single charging standard and therefore all cars could charge at both Superchargers and EA chargers, then EA putting in some effort to address holes/routes not already served by Superchargers might make sense.
