• Tesla lived in same time period as Edison, Einstein, Röntgen, Planck, Thomson, Marconi, ..
• Tesla was nominated for Nobel price, together with Edison, but refused to be rewarded together with Edison; both men were not exactly good friends. Edison did not refuse...
• Tesla lived greatest part of his life in New York and also worked for Westinghouse
