excellent service experience

    Just had an excellent service experience.

    My charge port wasn't opening with the charging cable. Had to use button to open charge port through the 17" center control panel. I sent an email today around 6pm to the local service (Villa Park IL) and within an hour or so, got a call back and they tried to trouble shot it remotely. Apparently the receiver for the charge port is in the rear window, not near the charge port itself. So they had me try to open it by aiming the charger at the rear window, but that didn't work. So they said they could drop off a new charging cable tonight! (The parts manager lives not too far from me)

    I wasn't expecting that, but they did drop off a new cable and made sure it worked (which it did). I wouldn't expect this type of super quick service every time, but it does show that they want to go above and beyond. Never received this type of service from my Audi or BMW dealers.
