I'm going to spend a few years in Asia (Korea). I was going to sell my 2016 MX but with all the global supply chain issues, getting a new or used car is insane (yes price but more importantly delivery time) and I'm noodling the idea of just bringing my MX.
Warranty will be void but the basic warranty is already over and battery/drive unit warranty only 2 years left so don't think the value of this is huge (unless car gets damaged during shipping).
I won't get data so map/media is useless, but I can live with my phone.
I believe autopilot (version 1) will still work fine though, although I haven't confirmed.
I assume no one will buy the car there in case I decide to get rid of it, but I figured I can just bring it back with me when I come back.
Not sure if insurance will charge a hefty premium.
