I got multiple bids, but not from Tesla direct. the other bids were >33K
is the Tesla price the installed price? Because the price per PW from 3rd party seemed to match Tesla

The testa linstalled price is what I mentioned earlier in this thread.

3 power walls from tesla = 6500+6500+6500 (the three powerwalls) + 1100 (gateway) + 4000 installation + taxes (if your state charges tax on these purchases, ours does)

EDIT: To OP sorry for all this "SGIP" talk in your thread which is about powerwalls in Texas, since SGIP is a california program it is not available there.

Its basically not available here in california either due to being over subscribed but thats for another thread lol.

The OP was asking about Texas.

Our house was built in late 2014 and had a smart meter already installed.

When our solar panels and PowerWalls were installed, the grid company (Centerpoint) didn't have to make any changes to our meter, and were able to complete their inspection and provide Permission To Operate (PTO) relying only on our installers diagrams and pictures.

Since our house was built with 3 150A panels (2 for the house, 1 for 2 HPWCs), it's possible we already had an upgraded meter connection, so nothing else was needed to connect our new solar/PW system.
