Extension Cord

Our parking spot just got harder to access for charging. Using 110 to charge. We need about 10'. Has anyone used a HD extension cord?

You can use an extension cord, just get a quality one and I would suggest you aim for overkill. Buy a 12gauge cord even if using on a 15amp circuit.
Do not get carried away with length either.
I leave a 25foot 12gauge in my car, haven't used it often but also never regret having it.

I took no chances and keep a 50' Yellow Jacket 10/3 15A extension in the frunk along with my charger.
Also have the 14-50 adapter for the charger as well. Those two cover most bases for me.

No problem using a 15 foot extension in that situation. 12 gauge.

exact same, the yellow jacket cord is a beast but no noticeable voltage drop using it.

I used a ~15-20 ft. cord 1 day for charging at 110V. It sucked: 2-3 miles per hour. If you have to utilize 110V the shorter the better.

Now, I did use a 50ft. Camco RV 220V extension cord when parked at one of my properties and it performed flawlessly with 30 miles per hour of charge.
