Mentioned this partially in the Model S forum, but thought I'd share here as well.
On a highway trip yesterday, 2017 90D with EAP/HW2. Latest software updates. Long flat straight road. NOA (with auto lane change witout requiring confirmation) would attempt to make lane changes to left lane when approaching entrance ramps onto the interstate (fine) or when coming up on a slower vehicle in front of me in the right lane.
Many times the lane change would abort halfway into the lane change, and the car would jerk itself back into the right lane. (With various beeps and warnings).
Common denominator? Each time it did it, there were shadows on the roadway in the left lane..
Coincidence?
