Fan Controller Algorithm

    Elon tweeted that the fans could be made quieter by a new algorithm, how's this possible?

    If the control loops are tightened, the fans would run at the minimum needed for proper cooling.

    I can program fans in my computer to follow custom rpm vs. temp curves. Same thing for Tesla, read the temp and set a programmed fan speed.

    That was my guess, I do the same thing on my computers... Oh wow I was really overthinking that one!!

    In conjunction with the outside air open or closed, the perceived noise will fluctuate also.
