HVAC NOISE Newer Model Y VS 2015-16 Model S

I rented a Model Y last summer and slept in it for a month long trip. I was fun but the HVAC was sort of loud for sleeping. Is a 2015-16 Model S HVAC louder or quieter than newer Model Ys. Also, is older S HVAC even close to as efficient such that you could sleep and run it overnight no issues like I did with the Y?

Pre-heat pump S/X are not as efficient, but I've had no problems using it to sleep in the car overnight on a few occasions.

Manually change the fan speed. Once you hit 5, the fan is significantly louder.
