Federal EV coming this budget 2019

My SR+ with Blue $1300 = $55000 but then I also added FSD $6600.
Looks like I will have to kill FSD. or else it will cost me $5000+6600 = $11600.
Downgrade to SR but adding AP and FSD? 47600+3000+6600 + blue 1300 = 58500 nope
Only way is My SR+ with Blue $1300 = $55000 yet post purchase FSD is going up past $10000 can May10th
Maybe hold on to that $5000 and wait for an end of quarter FSD sale?

No. The incentive program takes effect on May 1, 2019. Only purchases or leases of eligible zero-emission vehicles on or after this date will qualify for the incentive program.
Doesn’t the SR start at $44,999? That’s the only way the federal rebate applies to begin with. You won’t be able to get blue though.

I wonder how long it will take for the government to add it to the list officially. I can see them dragging their feet on this one leaving a bunch of people in limbo.
One thing is for sure, the program will certainly cost A LOT more with a model 3 on the list since it will outsell all other EVs combined

Yes. Says so on the Federal program FAQ
They say add-on accessories and color fees doesn't count :
So Blue SR+ is fine. Same goes for Red SR+ (+2 300$) and delivery fees (+1 300$) that won't count. Only thing left to know, is if they count FSD as "add-on accessories".
Zero-emission vehicles - Transport Canada
"Capital costs for eligible zero-emission passenger vehicles (e.g., cars and SUVs) will be deductible up to a limit of $55,000 plus sales tax.
Vehicles in respect of which assistance is paid under the new federal purchase incentive will be ineligible for the 100-per-cent write-off."
If I understand correctly if you get the incentive you cannot claim 100% write off?

I thought i did see that dealers will take care/apply the $5K rebate. Still looking for the article. Now i have to decide, whether to go for it or wait for the Y as planned????

The MY will be a few thousand more than the M3, so it's debatable if Tesla would try to do this same pricing for eligibility. PLUS if the Conservatives win in Oct, you can be sure they will cancel this program.
