Just got our 72mo with Scotiabank updated to 2.15% after emailing Tesla Finance.

Great to see rates lowered! I placed my order on July 3rd at 2.35% for 72 months - still no delivery.

Does anyone know if Tesla automatically applies lower rates (if applicable) or do we have to contact them on our own to do so?

Yes, I was surprised the banks are working on Sundays!

Okay good to know! I just emailed my advisor but if I don't hear back from him first thing (I assume he isn't working tomorrow though since it's a holiday) I will email the bank.

This was all through Tesla. I emailed [email protected] asking for updated interest rate and they said to check my tesla account which showed 2.15% for 72m. I had 2.35% for 72m previously with RBC

I'm picking my car this Tuesday. Previously had 2.35% showing with Scotiabank for a 72 months. Logged in now and see it showing 2.15% without emailing anyone.

It only saves me about $380 in interest over the course of the term but money is money!

Only if you tell them to switch from Scotia to RBC (or vice versa). If you want an updated quote from the same bank, then there is no pull.

Tesla arranges its financing through RBC or Scotia. You simply email [email protected] to ask them to update your rate if you are still waiting for delivery.

If you already had your delivery, you are SOL. Just as I'm SOL for August rates since I picked up July 23rd.

They got bak to me earlier this morning and said they were resubmitting the application for their lenders for the updated terms and will update my account once they hear back.

Same, but it's weird...I just logged onto my account and I'm back at the "Review Pricing Details" option where I have to resend my credit application.

I really do not want another credit pull to occur...this was just supposed to be Scotiabank updating the rate on my account.

Anyone have any ideas if this is normal?

Just heard back from Tesla Finance, they updated my terms but did say another credit pull was required update my July application to August.
