How to reach the Navigation button from when I am in another App that hides the navigation button? While driving or not. Thought it would be intuitive!

I’m pretty sure you just x out of that top page. Like on your iPhone

Yeah, you need to close that other app. In the new UI the "X" is gone from many apps, you just press the app's button on the bottom bar to make it disappear. Alternatively you can use the voice commands to "navigate to" your destination instead of typing it.

Yes, or you can swipe from the top of the screen down to get rid of whatever is currently open and reveal the map.
